Using Function Keys in Chromebook

Nelson Kho

RiskView utilises function keys (the F-keys, from F1 to F12) in some of the keyboard shortcuts, and the keyboard layout for Chromebook looks a bit different.

To convert those shortcut keys to F-keys:

    • Click on the “Settings” panel in the bottom right corner of your Chromebook screen
  1.
    • Click on Settings and this will load your Chromebook settings into a Chrome browser window
  2.
    • Scroll down to the “Device” section and click on the Keyboard Settings.
  3.
    • From there, check the “Treat Top-Row Keys as Function Keys” option, and then close the window when done.
  4.
